SINFONÍA TRÓPICO celebrated 10 years of work in favour of biodiversity conservation in Colombia in the framework of the COP16 that took place in Cali in October 2024.
On 30 October 2024, SINFONÍA TRÓPICO celebrated 10 years of working with young people in regions of Colombia for the protection and conservation of biodiversity. As part of COP16 in Cali, we welcomed the public to Casa de Mono, where a musical show was held with Camilo Martínez, Jackeline Perea, Gamma, and Leonel Romero. We also had a performance by Colectivo Atempo and dance pieces by Zarabanda Afro. Our visitors were also able to tour an exhibition featuring some of the artwork created by the young people we have worked with.
In the days leading up to the event, we were present in the COP16 Green Zone with flash mob performances by Colectivo Atempo and Zarabanda Afro. We invite you to watch the video shared here to revisit the key moments of our celebration.
